The Giclée Print

In giclée printing, no screen or other mechanical devices are used,
so there is no visible dot pattern on the prints.
The image has all the tonalities and hues of the original painting.
Giclée (pronounced zhee’clay) is a French term meaning to spray or squirt,
which is how inkjet printers work, though it is far removed from the standard desktop printer.
The giclée printing process provides much greater colour accuracy
than other means of reproduction.
My giclée reproductions are produced using the Canon's ImagePROGRAF.
The ImagePROGRAF is an exceptional, predictable giclée printer
with which superb results are consistently achieved.
The 12 colour pigment ink system with LUCIA inks offers
excellent colour fastness and stability with a wide colour gamut.
You can be confident that your giclee print will show the best in tonal range,
high density and colour vibrancy.
